Two skydivers are getting
comfortable on their sofa watching a hot skydiving movie. Nothing unusual at
this time of the season. But would you believe in seeing the complete living
room including floor lamp, table, telephone and running TV free falling from
13,000 feet? A few seconds after the skydivers left their sofa, gravity causes a
nice impact to the furniture in the middle of Arizona´s desert.
Later on in
this movie, quite a lot of cars from the junk yard are leaving the airplane´s
tailgate, loaded with skydivers and ending in the same way as above described
living room.
However, GOOD STUFF ist filled with essential action and
– believe it or not – even presents brandnew views of skydiving never seen
before! The "gyron helicopter" traces groups and single skydivers with an
extreme tele-zoom lens which enlarges the background and causes a dramatical new
view.
GOOD STUFF also reflects the tremendous performance of living
and dead skydiving legends like Rob Harris and Patrick de Gayardon. We enjoy top
skysurfing scenes high above Hawaii, the best of freeflying presented by the
Flyboyz, extended wingsuit-flights by Patrick de Gayardon and Adrian Nicholas,
ski-BASE-jumps by Patrick de Gayardon and Dave Barlia, a 100-way formation, the
skills of Arizona Airspeed, ex-president George Bush´s AFF-jump, a new stunt by
Greg Gasson (holding on his leg straps only with one hand and slipping into his
harness just before landing) and last not least some snowboard-BASE-jumps in
Norway.
Joe Jenning´s new video doesn´t claim to be an artwork and the
quality of the video shots is not the same as in a cinema motion picture filmed
on 35 mm. However, concerning it´s action, GOOD STUFF would even deserve
the title BEST STUFF!
